API Terms Of Service

These API Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Developer,” “you,” or “your”) and Teeket Technologies LL (“Teeket,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) regarding your access to and use of the Teeket Application Programming Interface, related SDKs, documentation, and developer resources (collectively, the “API”). By accessing or using the API, you agree to these Terms.

1. Access & Credentials

1.1 Registration. You must register for an API account or be invited as a partner to obtain credentials. We may approve or deny registration at our sole discretion.

1.2 API Keys & Tokens. All requests must be authenticated using valid API credentials. Keep credentials confidential and secure. You are responsible for all use of your credentials.

1.3 Security. You must implement and maintain appropriate security measures to protect API credentials and any data obtained through the API. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. License Grant

2.1 Limited License. Subject to these Terms, Teeket grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the API solely to develop and operate applications that interact with the Teeket platform.

2.2 Restrictions. Except as expressly permitted, you may not (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the API;

(b) reverse engineer or extract source code;

(c) use the API to build a competing product;

(d) use the API in any manner that disrupts or degrades Teeket’s services.

3. Permitted & Prohibited Uses

3.1 Permitted Uses. You may use the API to read and write data that you are authorized to access — such as events you organize, tickets you sell or purchase, and payments you process — in accordance with all applicable laws.

3.2 Prohibited Uses. You may not:

  • Circumvent technical restrictions (e.g., rate limits or authentication).

  • Cache or store personal data longer than necessary.

  • Sell, lease, or sublicense API access or API-derived personal data without Teeket’s written consent.

  • Engage in illegal, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, or otherwise harmful conduct.

4. Data Protection & Privacy

4.1 Compliance. You must comply with all applicable data protection, privacy, and consumer laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and any local equivalents).

4.2 User Consent. Obtain any legally required consents from your users before collecting or processing their data via the API.

4.3 Data Security. Encrypt personal data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Notify Teeket immediately of any security incident affecting API-derived data.

5. Rate Limits & Quotas

5.1 Limits. We may impose usage limits on your API calls to ensure platform stability.

5.2 Excessive Use. Exceeding limits may result in throttling, temporary suspension, or permanent revocation of API access.

5.3 Scaling. Contact support@teeket.app to discuss higher limits for production workloads.

6. Branding & Attribution

6.1 Trademarks. You may not use Teeket’s name, logo, or trademarks without written permission, except to identify your integration’s compatibility with Teeket.

6.2 Endorsement. You may not state or imply that Teeket endorses your application without prior written approval.

7. Updates & Modifications

7.1 Changes to the API. We may modify or discontinue the API or any feature at any time.

7.2 Breaking Changes. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of breaking changes.

7.3 Terms Updates. We may update these Terms at our discretion. Continued use of the API after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Fees

The API is currently offered without charge, but Teeket reserves the right to introduce fees or premium tiers in the future with notice.

9. Support

Teeket may provide technical support for the API, but is not obligated to do so. Support levels and response times may vary.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The API is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teeket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the API, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teeket and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the API, your violation of these Terms, or your application’s infringement of third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Republic of Liberia..

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Teeket regarding the API and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to its subject matter.
